Massacre In Chalk Halloween Deco

Description

Two years after the watery demise of my memorable P0rtal transmutation circle, I FINALLY found where to buy a good blacklight. (A 48'' long bulb that even makes our neighbor's yard across the street glow!! :evillaugh:) However, I didn't think that we would be handing out candy this year, so I didn't draw anything. Then it turned out we WERE, so, I hastily improvised. Unfortunately, it turns out CHALK DOES NOT GLOW IN BLACKLIGHT AT ALL!!!!! So, next year, I plan to formulate my own recipe that does. :paranoid:

Pretty good for $0.13. I really, really like the whole idea of chalk drawings as Halloween decorations, and this is one that anybody can easily do in just a few minutes. Very eerie effect at night, too. Several kids almost skipped our house, and we got a lot of comments from parents.

One kid, about 7 years old, said, "That's a lot of unlucky people."

Now I wish I had drawn evil eyes on them, like they could reach up from the concrete and grab people. :plotting:

My bro (who plays a lot of 1st-person-shooter games) wants me to mention that, when I told him to "feign death", he went all hardcore and literally threw himself at the ground, scraping his hands. I told him "NOE DON'T DO THAT!! :noes:" But he did anyway of course.

NOTE TO SELF SO I DON'T FORGET: Next year I want to draw a giant archeopteryx skeleton. AND, depending if I can find a chalk or washable pigment that fluoresces orange, a river of lava that the kids will have to cross on steppingstones to get to our door. :evillaugh:

I admit that, now that I have the power, I am also very tempted to recreate the Emblem Chamber from the World of Chaos in Kingdom Hearts for a Xehanort's Heartless cosplay shoot...

Tempted, but undecided. :paranoid:
