Shacklebolt - fan keyblade

Another keyblade for my dead-in-the-water, exclusively-Kingdom-Hearts-1 fanfic "Heart of the Realm". Part of a growing lineup.

This keyblade, having been tailored (by Ansem SoD) as a starter-keyblade for Riku in my radically old-school fanfic, embodies Riku's feelings about his ultimate destiny. Riku will have a few different keyblades designed by me, all following a Medieval theme in order to describe him as old-timey chivalrous. You know, pining for adventure, competing for strength and leadership, dueling for the hand of a lady, pledging his loyalty to a dragon and then a demon in exchange for skill with sorcery , getting burned and learning about the magic of friendship.....  

I may still make small tweaks to this, like changing that sphere-thingy to a skull or a blue eye like SoulEater's. I kept it simplistic on purpose, because in the context of my story it is an artificially manufactured keyblade based loosely on the Kingdom Key. Following War Gizmo and Iron Fist, this one----Shacklebolt----is Ansem SoD's third homemade-but-legitimate keyblade.

I'll probably never write this whole fanfic......but I still wanna keep designing keyblades for it, because I happen to like my own designs better than 98% of the cannon keyblades. I'd love to papercraft all of mine, but I've been morosely dragging-butt all year and haven't 3D-modeld ANYTHING since July.....  ....Sorry, Watchers....
